The Swiss Medtech Awards 2023 have come to a close, and the winners have been announced. This year, the awards recognize three outstanding companies that have made significant contributions to the advancement of healthcare through their innovative work in the MedTech industry.
Who are the winners?
KADEC produces turned parts in small, medium and large series. They are active in the equipment, medical, connector and watchmaking industries. Located in Delémont, capital of the canton of Jura, the company has the know-how to manufacture high precision parts, up to 12 mm in diameter, from prototypes to large series.
Connect41 is a startup specialized in near-field communication (NFC) technology. They are offering customers connected objects and a solution developed over 3 years to meet all their business objectives and applications: from business card to connected dome and large format sticker for windows and vehicles.
INCAPTEK is a technological startup developing novel materials for biotech, medtech and other industries. They have developed cutting-edge patterned microcontainer film technology, and are now pioneering next-generation drug-eluting coatings for medical devices with a controlled drug release function. The same technology is used to produce novel dielectric materials with exceptional physicochemical properties for high-frequency supercomputers, data centers, and 5G telecom. Their coaxial electrospray microencapsulation technology enables controlled release of encapsulated substances, offering enhanced functionality and an efficient delivery mechanism.
