Workshop Entrepreneurship in healthcare, the valley of death – Revisited.

We are excited to announce the next workshop of the Personalized Health Series, which will take place on the 21st of November 2024, during the Global Entrepreneurship Week Basel.

This time, the main goal is to provide both an inspiring and a hands-on presentation of the Basel ecosystem for everybody striving to transform their own ideas in concrete projects and thus to create innovation. The Basel ecosystem includes numerous high level research institutions as well as more than 700 companies, big medium and small, mainly focused on pharma and healthcare. The workshop wants to show how fertile such an environment can be to start collaborative projects involving academics and industrial representatives and meet potential partners. The needs and the expertise of academic and pharma researchers are definitively complementary. Only creating synergies between these two worlds will help translate research achievements into daily clinical tools for patients.

To showcase the full potential of the Basel ecosystem, we decided this time to partner not only with the Innovation Office of the University of Basel, but also with DayOne Basel, the Switzerland’s leading digital health and medtech accelerators.

Personalized Health Basel, the Innovation Office and DayOne are joining forces and their complementary skills to provide you with a unique experience and bring you concrete examples and hints for everybody interested in starting their entrepreneurial adventure, or for whomever needs health-related data to consolidate a running project and a partnership.
